/ January 16, 2012Lots of great info on Community Policing in the CHPL Strategic Plan. I don’t know if it is online but the CHPD can tell you.
The key in the name issue is “review” vs. “advisory.” The jurisdictions in NC with review boards have legislative authority to review personnel files. Without that authority, calling it a “review board” didn’t make sense to the majority of citizens who were on the group that helped to structure the CPAC

/ January 16, 2012Thanks Fred. I haven’t been able to find any CHPD planning documents online, and according to Chapelboro they are still in the process of developing a 2012 strategic plan (http://www.chapelboro.com/pages/11904971.php?). But I’ve emailed the CHPD public information officer and asked for an electronic copy of the current strategic plan.

/ January 16, 2012What, you can’t even get a Chapel Hill resident to write about Chapel Hill? Just goes to show how fringe Chapel Hill’s politics has become.
